We start at the world-renowned Mount Juliet Golf Club, just 18 minutes from Kilkenny city. Known for its championship parkland layout designed by Jack Nicklaus, Mount Juliet features immaculate fairways, strategic bunkering, and the River Nore winding through the course. It’s a course that challenges your game while rewarding precise shot-making, and it’s widely regarded as one of Ireland’s premier golf destinations.

After the round, drive approximately 25 minutes to the Hoban Hotel, Kilkenny, where guests will enjoy an overnight bed and breakfast stay. The hotel offers a convenient and comfortable base for a relaxing evening before the second day of golf.

Day Two – Castlecomer Golf Club

Day two takes us to Castlecomer Golf Club, a hidden gem in the Kilkenny countryside. This challenging parkland course features rolling fairways, well-placed bunkers, and mature tree-lined holes. Its layout rewards accuracy and strategy while providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making it an enjoyable opening round for golfers of all abilities.
